Gretchen Covine is a creative and talented marketing leader with thirteen years experience delivering marketing that aligns with the strategic vision and goals of the organization and generates results. Gretchen has a demonstrated history of successfully orchestrating resources and personnel to manage projects on time, on budget, and on target. Covine is skilled at developing and executing creative and integrated campaigns for direct mail, webinars, tradeshows, social media, websites, SEO, and new product releases that meet the company’s goals and requirements. Gretchen believes in the power of marketing to help organizations gain market share and presence, generate leads, and engage customers and prospects.
Before founding HUCO Marketing with Billi Hughes, Gretchen served as marketing manager for VisionPoint®, a training company, where she was responsible for the planning and executing of all strategic marketing, communications, events, new product releases, sales and marketing alignment and branding activities. Additional notable accomplishments include managing the development of a brand new website with a 3 month time line and expanding the marketing team’s workload capacity and efficiency, raising the level of overall sophistication of the brand and expanding the range of marketing activities to deliver a more fully integrated marketing strategy.
Prior to VisionPoint, Gretchen was a Marketing Strategist for Paradigm Learning, a training company, where she managed all of the company’s trade show, presentation and event marketing activities from the strategic and planning stage through implementation and execution. In 2003, Gretchen managed the design and development of a new trade show booth that accommodates both large (20 x 40) and small (10 x 10) events and won the company a best booth award. Gretchen also worked on several market and product research projects, and created and maintained a competitive intelligence system for the organization’s nationally dispersed sales team.
Before joining Paradigm Learning, Gretchen was an Account Manager at Hallmark/Tassone, an advertising agency. Where she worked with multiple clients (telecommunications, social marketing, healthcare and agriculture) managing all of their advertising needs including media planning, ad campaign creation, collateral support, direct mail campaigns, tradeshows and website design and planning.
Gretchen received a Bachelor’s of Arts Degree in History and Minor in Political Science from Salem College in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
